Ayurveda describes Piles as one the most tortuous and painful ailments. Piles are of mainly two types:

 

Dry piles (non-bleeding).

 

Bleeding piles.


Symptoms:
a)

Primary:

 

Indigestion.

 

Frequent problem of hiccups.

 

Backache.

 

Constipation.

 

Thin body.

b)

Other:

 

Recurrent constipation.

 

Outside appearance of piles.

 

Extreme pain while passing stools.

 

Bleeding when passing stools.

 

Burning sensation in anal region when passing stools.

 
Reasons:
 
Hereditary.
 
Frequent and continuous traveling in sitting position in vehicles moving at fast Speeds.
  Habit of sitting on heels for long.
 
Childbirth.
 

Resisting the flow of stools.

  Numerous childbirths.

Mechanism:
 

Pylobact contains ingredients (e.g. Triphala), which help in free and easy flow of stools.

 

Some of the ingredients strengthens anal mucosa thus helps in regaining its place.

 

Ingredients like Mesua Ferrea (Nagkeshra) helps blood clotting, thus decreasing the blood coming with stools.

 

Nishottar helps in softening of stools thus relieving the pain during the flow.

 
Recommended food diet:
 

Daily intake of fresh Buttermilk during meals.

 

Suran.

 

Nachanichi roti.

 

Take ghee and milk with food.

 
Avoid:
 

Oily food.

 

Fermented food products and spicy food.

 
DOs and DONTs:
 

Avoid doing work in sitting position for long hours.

 

Avoid frequent traveling.

 
Dosage:
 

1 tablet before meal (500 mgs.)

 
Duration of medication :
 

4 to 5 months.

 
Additional medication:
 

Daily intake of fresh buttermilk.

  Use Garlic and Ginger and food preparations.
